Of US workers 1 in 10 don't have a job and about 1 in 20 are looking cause theirs isn't good enough. It isn't a great market out there to find anything. Interviews are few and far between. I am wondering if employers are going to weed out their poor performers and take a look at the available talent.
Now employers are being cautious. They don't want to be sued. They want to hire a good worker. The US Government is really good about this. Your resume and interview mean far less than how you answer questions online about what you have or haven't done. If you can stretch the truth just a little you can pass far more qualified, but they are being objectionable. I had a 3 question interview and then 150 question survey to fill out. The survey is what they will use to choose. Frustrating.
Oh just one thing I saw and wanted to add to this post. Obama wants some 2.3 billion dollars for tax cuts that would produce 17,000 jobs. That is $136,000 per job. Do these people do math?
